It keeps excellent time. The 690's automatic feature works well and keeps the watch wound when wearing, as does the date feature, advancing each night at midnight. The case is in excellent condition showing only very light brassing on a few edges on the case. The ORIGINAL FINISH dial is is excellent condtion as well. This is an exceptionally rare watch
